Weekend Camp at Mt. Pakig Farm

Last January 27-28, 2017, we had our very first outdoor activity as a couple.
We went for a weekend camping in The Mount Pakig Farm found in Piddig.
Our experience, indeed, exceeded our expectations, really!

Waking up with the morning and sunset view were surreal. We could see the municipalities of Piddig and Dingras on top of the mount. And, the stars didn't even stop to draw a wide smile in our faces.
It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!  And I tell you, this is something that I would repeat.
Ate Gee and her family are very lucky to have a beautiful place like this.

We only spent Php 650.00 each for the whole trip.

Inclusions: Tent, Food (Dinner, Breakfast, Lunch), Laoag- Piddig Transportation, Transportation to Pekkan Falls)

If you want to take a break from the busy streets, stressful work or you just want to disconnect from everything, visit The Mount Pakig Farm.
Just keep updated in their Facebook Page for Camping Schedules.

MT. PAKIG FARM ITINERARY JAN.27-28,2017

·FRIDAY·

So we left the City around 6:30 PM and arrived at Piddig around 7:30PM.
We had to stop at ate Gee's house to make a courtesy call.
From her house, we walked/hiked for 15 minutes to reach the top of the Mt. Pakig/Campsite.

When we arrived, we set our tents, bonfire was lit and prepared ourselves to eat dinner.

After that, we stargazed and took some rest for our waterfalls trip in the next morning.

·SATURDAY·

Woke up around before 6 AM to catch sunrise but it was a little bit cloudy, but still enjoyed it.

We had our breakfast and took off around 9 AM to go to Pekkan Falls of Vintar. ( Will make a separate post for it)

We had our lunch at ate Gee's for it was her grandmothers birthday.

Hiked back to Mt. Pakig, took a nap and enjoyed the sunset.

·SUNDAY·

Sunrise didn't fail us this time. It was a beautiful morning. Yes, it really was.

Breakfast time

Around 10 AM we had to go back to the city of Laoag again.

But before that, we had our last activity of the Weekend Camp. A quick visit at the Museum of Piddig about the Basi Revolt.
