#TheIlocanoAdventurers goes to Salomague Island
Salomague Island is found in Sabang, Cabugao, Ilocos Norte.
It is the second destination of The Ilocano Adventurers.
From the national highway to Sabang, it takes about 10-15 minutes to get in the beach.
Sabang is a barangay in Cabugao, a place where they also offer surfing classes.
1hr surfing class = Php 500.00.
They also offcer all day surfing class but you'd have to talk with your instructor.
If you just wanna stay in the beach of sabang, they have an entrace fee = Php 10.00.
There's also a barkada type of room for rent in front of the beach.
Sabang beach
We had to take a boat that will take us to the island. We rented a boat for Php 600.00. It includes roundtrip and to go around the island.
Waves were quite calm
(The boat can accomodate 8-10 persons)

#TheIlocanoAdventurers at Madongan Dam, Dingras
(Alvin, Denish, Jessica, Pat, Marvin, Ryan)
The very first batch outing of #TheIlocanoAdventurers at Madongan Dam, Dingrasm Ilocos Norte.
One morning, an idea just popped in my head - to create a group of adventurers here in Ilocos Norte and go for some outings together.
I know that I'm not the only who has eagerness for outings, adventures, unplanned hikings and stuff, so I created a group in FB where now we are 106 members, where some may know each other or not.
Outings might be with private or public transportation; KKB foods or share-share. The goal is just to have a good time by spending a small amount of money, to create memories, making new friends, and to feed our cravings for adventures.
So here's our very first outing:
We rent a jeep from Laoag - Madongan Dam for Php 1,700 (back and forth). It's a very expensive price, so if you plan on going next time, try to ask for a lower price. with the jeepney drivers.
Travel time is around 1 hour to 1 1/2 hour.
It's also a little bit distant from the town proper, and there are rough roads ahead.
Here's our group picture inside the jeepney. All ours.

Lunch time!
Some of us packed their lunch, but I decided to cook for sharing.

Valentines day 2016
This is how we celebrated our first Valentine's Day together.
We were randomly checking plane tickets last december 24 in the evening when we saw that LAO-MNL tickets were on sale. We immediately booked. Php 1,200/each (round ticket) with Cebu Pacific.
Our flight was 7:15. We took the Laoag- Gabu jeep at 6:00 pm which dropped us off near the airport (around 10 minutes walking).
Sadly, our flight was delayed for 1-2hours. We were very hungry. Luckily, i brought some chips, but still ended up buying cup noodles because my stomach just cannot hold itself anymore.

1) Art in Island
We took the LRT and stopped at Cubao. Roamed around. Walked till we get there (thanks to google maps).
Entrace fee: Php 500.00, but if you're a student it's Php 400.00 just remember to bring you I.D.
Took all the opportunity for these pictures. Thanks to our Gopro and Goprostand, we were able to have photos like this.
Puro PDA. Pasensya na. haha
2) Star City
Managed to arrive here again just by hopping into public transportations and walking a lot, beating the sun. Won't complain for I have him as my company, right?
Rode all the big rides. Even saw him nervous with this one right below. haha
Hopped the ferris wheel before sunset. And yes, we achieved it.
Ended up exhausted. But we still walked along the Manila Bay then hopped in a jeep where we ended up in Baclaran.

1) Venice GrandCanal Mall
Arrived here with the help of google maps and with some advice of friends. Thank you again. We wouldnt have arrived here without.
The Venice Canal looking finally. I thought i was a big place when i saw it in pictures but it wasn't really that big.
Didn't roam around that much for we were in a rush for lunch.
He bought a present for me here: a watch.
Valentine's Day is not all about the expensive roses, chocolates, and romantic dates. Sometimes it's just making memories together, getting lost or discovering a new place, walking holding hands under the sun, and having patience with each other.
Thank you for this weekend getaway with you, Love.
