Cambodia, Siem Reap

2 months delayed of posting this trip to Cambodia and Thailand with Denish so I'll just write what my mind forgot but my heart remembers. Chos.

This was the very first time Denish rides an airplane. He was very nervous and excited at the same time. He wasn't able to sleep during the flight, he kept on looking at the windows even when everything was dark. haha

Our first stop was in the very famous tourist spot of Cambodia: Angkot Wat. Catching sunrise is a must if you visit Cambodia, but let me tell you a funny story that happened to us.
Cambodia is one hour late compared to the Philippines so as we arrived at the hotel I immediately changed the time zone to avoid confusedness. We had to be prepared at 5:00 AM because our tuktuk ride will pick us up, so I put the alarm at 4:00 AM. Mistakenly, when I adjusted my clock, I set 2 hours less instead of just one hour. Luckily, Denish is a very understanding person haha. Plus, the tuktuk driver also got lost so it didn't look like it was our fault afterall.

Morning view at the Angkot Wat behind us.

After Angkot Wat ,we also visited various temples but I really can't recall their names.

This is the place where we got lost. Everything looked similar that's why.

Bayon might be our favorite temple. We love the faces at the top of it.

 Bayon Temple
Bayon, again.

So here's the famous spot where Angelina Jolie filmed her video. I was also amazed with how the trees grew above this temples. Let me just say: "It's magical".

One of our list to get is this bracelet given by one of the monks inside the temple.

The place where you got to see a great view of the sunset. Sadly, we were not able to catch the sun setting because this place is limitied to its visitors. 300 people are only allowed to go up.

Pub Street
The place where you can buy souvenirs, eat exotic foods (which we promise to try but ended up not eating haha)

Plus, a street full of life. Will love their night life, non stop party, very delicious food and friendly people everywhere.

Our very cheap but sosyalin hotel with pool. $54.00 (3 days 2 nights)

Thank you Cambodia. I really love you and if I got the chance to, I'll come back to you. Thank you. You are amazing.

Here's a videoclip of our trip:

Cabugao, Ilocos Sur

Because when the sea is calling for an adventure, you just have to go. Even if it's 1 hour or 10 hours away, you have to take that escape.

As usual, this trip was planned the night before and got cancelled as well. But suddenly in the morning we all agreed back to just pack our bags and go. That happened one hour before our call time. Meeting point was in Para Vigan. Laoag to Cabugao with the normal bus costs Php 60.00. We didn't get any tricycle anymore to bring us to Sabang, Cabugao because Czarina has a friend, Marc Russel, who took us at the beach. We also had lunch in Vigan (around 20 minutes of travel from Cabugao). Ate and went back home. Vigan to Laoag fare is Php 100.00. It usually takes 2 hours to travel or less but due to heavy traffic and underconstruction roads, our trip lasted about 3 hours.
And that's my christmas break outing with my very close friends: Gem, Czarina; Darelle, and a new friend: Marc.

Once again, you don't  have to travel that far to see such beauty.

Here's a short video clip our trip: https://www.facebook.com/jessicafelipe17/videos/10207839688980814/?l=3648277434654740761
